About Us
Al Azhar 8 Jakapermai Islamic Playgroup and Kindergarten operates under the foundation of Yayasan Waqaf Al Muhajirien Jakapermai (YWAM JP), which has dedicated 36 years of service to the community. As the managing foundation of Al Azhar Islamic Schools in Jakapermai, Kemang Pratama, and Grand Wisata, as well as MI Al Muhajirien, MTs Al Muhajirien, Masjid Jami Al Azhar Jakapermai, PT Wisata Al Azhar Jakapermai, and the Al Muhajirien Training Center Building (Pusdiklat), YWAM JP continuously strives to provide the best educational and community services to meet the needs of the ummah.

Our Featured Programs
TPQ (Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an)
TPQ (Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an) aims to instill children’s love for the Qur’an from an early age through learning hijaiyah letters, reading the Qur’an correctly, and practicing daily prayers and Islamic manners in a gradual and enjoyable way suited to children’s abilities.
AMICA - CODING & AI
Introduce children to basic computer use in a simple, safe, and age-appropriate way. Children learn to recognize basic computer devices, improve hand-eye coordination, and develop logical thinking skills through fun educational games and guided activities.
Swimming
Develop children’s courage, independence, and gross motor skills through safe and enjoyable water activities. Children are introduced to basic swimming skills, improve physical fitness, coordination, and self-confidence under the guidance of teachers and instructors according to their age and abilities.
Singing
Develop children’s musical abilities, self-confidence, and courage in expressing themselves through songs. This activity helps improve sensitivity to rhythm, melody, and tempo, while supporting language and emotional development through age-appropriate children’s, national, and Islamic songs.
Coloring
Develop children’s creativity, imagination, and fine motor skills through enjoyable coloring activities. Children are introduced to various colors, trained in hand-eye coordination, and encouraged to focus and be patient using age-appropriate coloring media.
Sports
Engages students in a small-sided indoor soccer program to enhance motor skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and tactical game understanding.
Tilawah
Children learn to read the Qur’an with simple tajwid and proper recitation in a fun way. This activity helps them memorize short verses, understand their basic meanings, and develop a love for the Qur’an from an early age.
Dancing
Through dance activities, children learn to move and express themselves in a fun way. This program develops body coordination, creativity, balance, and confidence through simple and enjoyable dance routines.
APSUS
