Al Azhar 8 Jakapermai Islamic Playgroup and Kindergarten operates under the foundation of Yayasan Waqaf Al Muhajirien Jakapermai (YWAM JP), which has dedicated 36 years of service to the community. As the managing foundation of Al Azhar Islamic Schools in Jakapermai, Kemang Pratama, and Grand Wisata, as well as MI Al Muhajirien, MTs Al Muhajirien, Masjid Jami Al Azhar Jakapermai, PT Wisata Al Azhar Jakapermai, and the Al Muhajirien Training Center Building (Pusdiklat), YWAM JP continuously strives to provide the best educational and community services to meet the needs of the ummah.

TPQ (Taman Pendidikan Al-Qur’an) aims to instill children’s love for the Qur’an from an early age through learning hijaiyah letters, reading the Qur’an correctly, and practicing daily prayers and Islamic manners in a gradual and enjoyable way suited to children’s abilities.

When are the extracurricular activities held?

The extracurricular activities are scheduled as follows: the singing extracurricular activity is held every Monday, the coloring extracurricular activity every Tuesday, the futsal extracurricular activity every Wednesday, and the dancing extracurricular activity every Thursday.

Are there extracurricular activities at TKIA 8?

Yes, TKIA 8 provides several extracurricular activities that are integrated into the Teaching and Learning Process, including singing, coloring, Tilawati, computer studies, and English Language. In addition, there are optional independent extracurricular activities that require an additional fee beyond the regular tuition, namely Tahfidz, futsal, and TPQ.

How does the student pick-up system work after school?

Each student will be provided with an identification card (ID Card), and every authorized pick-up person is required to present the card during pick-up. If a student has not yet been picked up, the student will return to the classroom and wait there with the teacher.

Is TKIA 8 a child-friendly school?

Alhamdulillah, TKIA 8 has been officially recognized as a Child-Friendly School by the Bekasi City Education Office.

What curricula are implemented at TKIA 8?

TKIA 8 implements three curricula: the Cambridge Curriculum, the National Curriculum, and the Al Azhar Curriculum, which are designed to support students’ academic development, character building, and Islamic values in a balanced and integrated manner.

How is the Cambridge Curriculum implemented at TKIA 8?

The Cambridge Curriculum at TKIA 8 is implemented at the Playgroup and Kindergarten levels, where basic English is introduced and taught in the classroom by the teachers. The language of instruction is a combination of Indonesian and English. Cambridge textbooks are used in the learning process, and the teachers have also received English language training to support the effective implementation of the curriculum.
