Implementing active, innovative, creative, effective, and enjoyable learning, and preparing students mentally and academically to enter primary education by ensuring learning readiness and early abilities in reading, writing, and basic numeracy.
Organization Structure
The organizational structure of Al Azhar 8 Jakapermai Islamic Playgroup & Kindergarten is systematically designed to support the delivery of early childhood education in a professional, well-directed, and sustainable manner. The school operates under the guidance of Yayasan Pesantren Islam Al Azhar and Yayasan Waqaf Al-Muhajirien Jakapermai, with the School Principal serving as the primary person in charge of educational operations. The Principal plays a key role in coordinating all school units and translating the foundation’s policies into effective educational programs. Strategic support is also provided by the Jam’iyyah Chairperson, reflecting strong collaboration and partnership with parents and the wider community. In carrying out its educational mission, the Principal is supported by various functional units, each with specific roles and responsibilities. The administrative division manages school operations and services, supported by administrative staff, cleaning staff, security personnel, and office support to ensure a safe, orderly, and comfortable school environment. On the academic side, the school is strengthened by a school consultant, curriculum coordinators, a librarian/PSB officer, and teaching staff consisting of Toddler, Playgroup, and Class A and B teachers. All elements work collaboratively to create a holistic learning environment grounded in Islamic values, with students placed at the center of every educational activity and development process.
