Commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia Instilling National Values from an Early Age

Independence Day is a historic milestone of the nation’s struggle that must be preserved. Beyond maintaining independence, as the next generation, we are responsible for filling this independence with positive actions that foster national awareness and patriotism. Therefore, in welcoming the 80th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Indonesia on 17 August 2025, it is our duty as part of the Indonesian nation to remember and honor the services of the heroes who fought for the independence of the Republic of Indonesia. In this spirit, Al Azhar 8 Islamic Playground and Kindergarten organized a series of positive activities aimed at celebrating Indonesia’s Independence Day with joy and enthusiasm.

The commemoration activities were carried out over three days and included skill-based competitions involving students and parents, a traditional costume carnival and fashion show, and a flag-raising ceremony conducted by the teachers at the field of Al Azhar 6 Bekasi Islamic Junior High School. Alhamdulillah, the entire series of events was carried out smoothly, reflecting the enthusiasm and spirit of the pious students, both boys and girls.
