Commemoration of National Children’s Day Al Azhar 8 Islamic Playground and Kindergarten

Alhamdulillah, the National Children’s Day celebration was carried out smoothly, with all students from the Playground, Kindergarten A, and Kindergarten B levels actively participating in the event. The activity was held on Wednesday, 23 July 2025 at Al Azhar 8 Islamic Playground and Kindergarten and consisted of the following series of events:

• Pledge recitation
• Collective prayer
• Singing the national anthem Indonesia Raya
• Seven Habits of Indonesian Children exercise
• Parade
• Principal’s address
• Magic show
• Group photo session
• Returning to classrooms

The event truly celebrated National Children’s Day in a lively and joyful atmosphere. The children happily joined the parade wearing National Children’s Day hats and waving flags while singing the song “Aku Anak Indonesia,” which they had memorized several days prior to the celebration. The children also enjoyed an interactive magic show filled with excitement and prizes.

The welcoming address by Ms. Hj. Maryani, S.Pd, as the Kindergarten Principal of Al Azhar 8 Islamic Playground and Kindergarten, officially opened the magic show that had been eagerly awaited by the children. The activity involved approximately 110 students and took place along the first-floor corridor. The school invited a professional magician and entertainer, Mr. Tsu, to enliven the event.
