Child-Friendly Student Orientation Program Al Azhar 8 Islamic Playground and Kindergarten, Bekasi

The Student Orientation Program is the first activity for new students to become familiar with their school environment. Through this program, students are introduced to school programs, facilities and infrastructure, self-concept development, and school culture. A student orientation program that is humanistic, dynamic, educational, enjoyable, and meaningful is essential in supporting children’s positive adjustment to school life.

The Student Orientation Program at Al Azhar 8 Islamic Playground and Kindergarten was conducted from Monday, 7 July to Friday, 18 July 2025, and was attended by all students along with the teachers. The program aimed to encourage children to feel happy and comfortable coming to school through a variety of engaging activity areas, including:

• Cognitive Area
• Fine Motor Skills Area
• Gross Motor Skills Area
• Science Area
• Fishing Area
• Cooking Area
• Singing Area
• Library Area
• Playground Area

In addition to visiting the various activity areas, the children were also introduced to the school environment to help them become familiar with their surroundings and develop a sense of comfort and belonging within the school.
